# Weather Office vs Weather #1 Interactive Widgets

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Weather Office at none against Weather #1 Interactive Widgets's 5. Weather Office also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Weather #1 Interactive Widgets's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weather #1 Interactive Widgets sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Weather Office asks for nothing beyond the download.

Weather Office holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weather #1 Interactive Widgets has 7.3K ratings behind it against 98, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Weather Office's written reviews are positive against 73% of Weather #1 Interactive Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weather Office ships an update every 5 weeks, Weather #1 Interactive Widgets weekly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
