# Routesy vs Muni Plus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Muni Plus at none against Routesy's 2. Muni Plus also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (83% vs 51%). Routesy's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 11) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Routesy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Muni Plus asks for nothing beyond the download.

Routesy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Routesy has 15K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Routesy's written reviews are positive against 83% of Muni Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Routesy ships an update fortnightly, Muni Plus monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
