# NU.nl vs Oost

The clearest difference is rating: Oost at 4.6 against NU.nl's 4.1. Oost also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). NU.nl's advantage is review sentiment (34% vs 0%) and ratings volume (55 vs 12). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Oost holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 55 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of NU.nl's written reviews are positive against 0% of Oost's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
