# 百度 vs 拍照识图

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 拍照识图 at none against 百度's 12. 百度's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 10%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 8 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 百度 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. 拍照识图 asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for 百度 against 4.6 for 拍照识图. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 百度 has 31K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of 百度's written reviews are positive against 10% of 拍照识图's.

百度 ships an update weekly, 拍照识图 every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
