# 百度 vs 扫描翻译大师

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 扫描翻译大师 at 90% against 百度's 43%. 扫描翻译大师 also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). 百度's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (31K vs 24). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 百度 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and 扫描翻译大师 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

百度 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 百度 has 31K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of 百度's written reviews are positive against 90% of 扫描翻译大师's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

百度 ships an update weekly, 扫描翻译大师 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
