# 百度 vs Ham

The clearest difference is rating: Ham at 5.0 against 百度's 4.5. Ham also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ads (none vs shown). 百度's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (31K vs 5). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 百度 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Ham asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ham holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 百度 has 31K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
