# 百度 vs 录音机

The clearest difference is rating: 录音机 at 5.0 against 百度's 4.5. 录音机 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). 百度's advantage is ratings volume (31K vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 百度 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and 录音机 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

录音机 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 百度 has 31K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

百度 ships an update weekly, 录音机 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
