# Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker vs CPA

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker and CPA both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 70% of Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker's written reviews are positive against 0% of CPA's. Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (677K vs 3). CPA's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. CPA asks for nothing beyond the download.

CPA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker has 677K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker's written reviews are positive against 0% of CPA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker ships an update every 2 weeks, CPA every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
