# WebDAV Navigator vs File Explorer & Player

The clearest difference is rating: File Explorer & Player at 4.6 against WebDAV Navigator's 4.2. File Explorer & Player also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). WebDAV Navigator's advantage is ratings volume (752 vs 124) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WebDAV Navigator sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and File Explorer & Player sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

File Explorer & Player holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WebDAV Navigator has 752 ratings behind it against 124, so its average is the more settled of the two.
