# Mirror Deluxe vs FaceApp

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mirror Deluxe at 90% against FaceApp's 47%. Mirror Deluxe also leads on iOS requirement (15 vs 17.0). FaceApp's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mirror Deluxe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FaceApp sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FaceApp holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FaceApp has 1.8M ratings behind it against 4.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Mirror Deluxe's written reviews are positive against 47% of FaceApp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mirror Deluxe ships an update every 3 months, FaceApp every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
