# Mirror Deluxe vs Real Camera

The clearest difference is rating: Mirror Deluxe at 4.5 against Real Camera's 3.0. Mirror Deluxe also leads on ratings volume (4.4K vs 2) and review sentiment (90% vs 73%). Real Camera's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mirror Deluxe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Real Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mirror Deluxe holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mirror Deluxe has 4.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 90% of Mirror Deluxe's written reviews are positive against 73% of Real Camera's.

Mirror Deluxe ships an update every 3 months, Real Camera every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
