# Vintage Scene vs Recolla

The clearest difference is rating: Vintage Scene at 4.8 against Recolla's 4.0. Vintage Scene also leads on ratings volume (517 vs 8) and chart position (#197 vs unranked). Recolla's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%) and price ($1.99 vs $2.99). On update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Vintage Scene costs $2.99 and Recolla $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vintage Scene holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vintage Scene has 517 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Vintage Scene's written reviews are positive against 100% of Recolla's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vintage Scene ships an update every 5 months, Recolla every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
