# Nether Earth vs Final Front

The clearest difference is price: Final Front at Free against Nether Earth's $0.99. Final Front also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 23 months). Nether Earth's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ads (none vs shown). On review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Final Front is free to download; Nether Earth costs $0.99 up front. Final Front sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Nether Earth asks for nothing beyond the download.

Final Front holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Final Front has 250 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Nether Earth's written reviews are positive against 47% of Final Front's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nether Earth ships an update every 23 months, Final Front fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
