# PMP® Exam Trainer Light vs PMP formulas

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PMP formulas at 94% against PMP® Exam Trainer Light's 33%. PMP formulas also leads on ratings volume (49 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). PMP® Exam Trainer Light's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PMP® Exam Trainer Light holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PMP formulas has 49 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of PMP® Exam Trainer Light's written reviews are positive against 94% of PMP formulas's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PMP® Exam Trainer Light ships an update every 2 months, PMP formulas every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
