# Schwarzwald vs FAIRTIQ

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FAIRTIQ at 73% against Schwarzwald's 40%. FAIRTIQ also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (409 vs 5). Schwarzwald's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Schwarzwald holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FAIRTIQ has 409 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Schwarzwald's written reviews are positive against 73% of FAIRTIQ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Schwarzwald ships an update every 7 months, FAIRTIQ fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
