# Stopwatch´ vs GoTimer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GoTimer at none against Stopwatch´'s 1. GoTimer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Stopwatch´'s advantage is ratings volume (317 vs 2) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stopwatch´ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. GoTimer asks for nothing beyond the download.

GoTimer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stopwatch´ has 317 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Stopwatch´ ships an update monthly, GoTimer every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
