# Stopwatch´ vs Stopwatch Pro

The clearest difference is ads: Stopwatch Pro at none against Stopwatch´'s shown. Stopwatch Pro also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). Stopwatch´'s advantage is ratings volume (318 vs 28). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stopwatch´ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stopwatch Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stopwatch Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stopwatch´ has 318 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of Stopwatch´'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Stopwatch Pro's.

Stopwatch´ ships an update monthly, Stopwatch Pro every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
