# Stopwatch´ vs Timy

The clearest difference is rating: Stopwatch´ at 4.6 against Timy's 3.6. Stopwatch´ also leads on ratings volume (305 vs 19). Timy's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stopwatch´ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Timy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stopwatch´ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stopwatch´ has 305 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of Stopwatch´'s written reviews are positive against 63% of Timy's.

Stopwatch´ ships an update monthly, Timy every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
