# MyCompassion vs MyGabb

The clearest difference is rating: MyGabb at 4.5 against MyCompassion's 3.4. MyGabb also leads on ratings volume (8.2K vs 48) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). MyCompassion's advantage is review sentiment (51% vs 11%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyGabb holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyGabb has 8.2K ratings behind it against 48, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of MyCompassion's written reviews are positive against 11% of MyGabb's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyCompassion ships an update every 2 months, MyGabb fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
