# Pukkelpop vs DICE

The clearest difference is rating: DICE at 4.9 against Pukkelpop's 2.5. DICE also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (86K vs 2). Pukkelpop's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DICE holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DICE has 86K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 36% of Pukkelpop's written reviews are positive against 48% of DICE's.

Pukkelpop ships an update every 2 months, DICE weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
