# Chegg Study vs QUT

Chegg Study and QUT both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 59% of QUT's written reviews are positive against 20% of Chegg Study's. QUT also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5). Chegg Study's advantage is ratings volume (205K vs 3) and chart position (#66 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chegg Study sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month. QUT asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Chegg Study against 4.7 for QUT. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chegg Study has 205K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 20% of Chegg Study's written reviews are positive against 59% of QUT's.

Chegg Study ships an update every 3 weeks, QUT monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
