# Chegg Study vs ClassRabbit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ClassRabbit at 73% against Chegg Study's 20%. ClassRabbit also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Chegg Study's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (205K vs 23). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chegg Study sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month and ClassRabbit sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chegg Study holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chegg Study has 205K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Chegg Study's written reviews are positive against 73% of ClassRabbit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chegg Study ships an update every 3 weeks, ClassRabbit fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
