# Chegg Study vs APIConnect

The clearest difference is rating: Chegg Study at 4.7 against APIConnect's 4.0. Chegg Study also leads on ratings volume (205K vs 5) and chart position (#65 vs unranked). APIConnect's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chegg Study sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month. APIConnect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chegg Study holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chegg Study has 205K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
