# Chegg Study vs CamSolve

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CamSolve at 100% against Chegg Study's 20%. CamSolve also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Chegg Study's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chegg Study sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month and CamSolve sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chegg Study holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chegg Study has 205K ratings behind it against 70, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Chegg Study's written reviews are positive against 100% of CamSolve's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chegg Study ships an update every 3 weeks, CamSolve monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and June 4, 2026 respectively.
