# Chegg Study vs MyCampusHub

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MyCampusHub at none against Chegg Study's 5. MyCampusHub also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Chegg Study's advantage is ratings volume (205K vs 2) and chart position (#64 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chegg Study sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month. MyCampusHub asks for nothing beyond the download.

MyCampusHub holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chegg Study has 205K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
