# Controller vs Flight Schedule Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Controller at 4.8 against Flight Schedule Pro's 3.6. Controller also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Flight Schedule Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Controller holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Controller has 10K ratings behind it against 552, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Controller's written reviews are positive against 39% of Flight Schedule Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Controller ships an update every 2 months, Flight Schedule Pro every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
