# iLlumination vs Password Manager

The clearest difference is rating: Password Manager at 4.6 against iLlumination's 1.0. Password Manager also leads on ratings volume (6.5K vs 1) and chart position (#188 vs unranked). iLlumination's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 73%) and price ($3.99 vs $5.99). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

iLlumination costs $3.99 and Password Manager $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Password Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Password Manager has 6.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of iLlumination's written reviews are positive against 73% of Password Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
