# Remote Mouse vs PPT Remote Control

The clearest difference is rating: Remote Mouse at 4.6 against PPT Remote Control's 1.0. Remote Mouse also leads on ratings volume (19K vs 3) and device support (4 vs 2). PPT Remote Control's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remote Mouse sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. PPT Remote Control asks for nothing beyond the download.

Remote Mouse holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote Mouse has 19K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Remote Mouse's written reviews are positive against 80% of PPT Remote Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Remote Mouse ships an update monthly, PPT Remote Control every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
