# OPlayer Lite vs Ulearn

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ulearn at every 4 days against OPlayer Lite's every 3 months. OPlayer Lite's advantage is ratings volume (4.4K vs 237) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OPlayer Lite sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Ulearn sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for OPlayer Lite against 4.6 for Ulearn. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OPlayer Lite has 4.4K ratings behind it against 237, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of OPlayer Lite's written reviews are positive against 68% of Ulearn's.

OPlayer Lite ships an update every 3 months, Ulearn every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
