# OPlayer Lite vs iSafe Pro

The clearest difference is price: OPlayer Lite at Free against iSafe Pro's $0.99. OPlayer Lite also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and review sentiment (75% vs 62%). iSafe Pro's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

OPlayer Lite is free to download; iSafe Pro costs $0.99 up front. OPlayer Lite sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and iSafe Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OPlayer Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OPlayer Lite has 4.4K ratings behind it against 711, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of OPlayer Lite's written reviews are positive against 62% of iSafe Pro's.

OPlayer Lite ships an update every 3 months, iSafe Pro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
