# AutoMathic vs myCal PRO Planner

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AutoMathic at none against myCal PRO Planner's 5. AutoMathic also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and price ($1.99 vs $2.99). myCal PRO Planner's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 2). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

AutoMathic costs $1.99 and myCal PRO Planner $2.99 up front. myCal PRO Planner sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. AutoMathic asks for nothing beyond the download.

AutoMathic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myCal PRO Planner has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of AutoMathic's written reviews are positive against 82% of myCal PRO Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AutoMathic ships an update every 11 months, myCal PRO Planner every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
