# MARTA vs HERide

MARTA and HERide both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 44% of HERide's written reviews are positive against 13% of MARTA's. MARTA's advantage is ratings volume (6.2K vs 388). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for MARTA against 4.0 for HERide. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MARTA has 6.2K ratings behind it against 388, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 13% of MARTA's written reviews are positive against 44% of HERide's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
