# Bargain vs Speedometer Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Bargain at 5.0 against Speedometer Tracker's 4.4. Bargain also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). Speedometer Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (18 vs 1). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speedometer Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Bargain asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bargain holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speedometer Tracker has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Bargain's written reviews are positive against 67% of Speedometer Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bargain ships an update every 10 months, Speedometer Tracker every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
