# Solitaire vs Solitaire Diamond Path Version

The clearest difference is rating: Solitaire at 4.6 against Solitaire Diamond Path Version's 4.2. Solitaire also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (28K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solitaire sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Solitaire Diamond Path Version sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solitaire holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire has 28K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Solitaire ships an update every 3 weeks, Solitaire Diamond Path Version every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
