# PGR Calculator vs ArborPro

The clearest difference is rating: ArborPro at 4.7 against PGR Calculator's 3.3. ArborPro also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (12 vs 4). PGR Calculator's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (10.2 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ArborPro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of PGR Calculator's written reviews are positive against 67% of ArborPro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PGR Calculator ships an update every 4 months, ArborPro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
