# Bible vs BBE Bible

The clearest difference is ads: Bible at none against BBE Bible's shown. Bible also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (303 vs 19). BBE Bible's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and BBE Bible sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BBE Bible holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible has 303 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bible ships an update weekly, BBE Bible every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
