# DMS Converter vs Wherigo®

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DMS Converter at 86% against Wherigo®'s 42%. Wherigo®'s advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.6) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DMS Converter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Wherigo® asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wherigo® holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wherigo® has 989 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of DMS Converter's written reviews are positive against 42% of Wherigo®'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DMS Converter ships an update every 3 months, Wherigo® every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
