# DMS Converter vs Coordinates

The clearest difference is rating: Coordinates at 4.6 against DMS Converter's 3.6. Coordinates also leads on ratings volume (6.7K vs 28) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). DMS Converter's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (86% vs 64%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DMS Converter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Coordinates sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Coordinates holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coordinates has 6.7K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of DMS Converter's written reviews are positive against 64% of Coordinates's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DMS Converter ships an update every 3 months, Coordinates monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
