The clearest difference is update cadence: Texts From Jesus at every 10 days against Psalm's every 24 months. Both are free to download. Texts From Jesus sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Psalm sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Texts From Jesus against 4.8 for Psalm.
