# Fly Delta vs Frontier Airlines

The clearest difference is ads: Frontier Airlines at none against Fly Delta's shown. Frontier Airlines also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Fly Delta's advantage is ratings volume (7M vs 1.3M) and review sentiment (39% vs 31%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Fly Delta against 4.7 for Frontier Airlines. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fly Delta has 7M ratings behind it against 1.3M, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 39% of Fly Delta's written reviews are positive against 31% of Frontier Airlines's.

Fly Delta ships an update fortnightly, Frontier Airlines every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
