# CamScanner vs Convert+ PDF Converter

The clearest difference is ratings volume: CamScanner at 2M against Convert+ PDF Converter's 10. CamScanner also leads on chart position (#9 vs unranked). Convert+ PDF Converter's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 60%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CamScanner sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Convert+ PDF Converter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for CamScanner against 4.9 for Convert+ PDF Converter. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CamScanner has 2M ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of CamScanner's written reviews are positive against 83% of Convert+ PDF Converter's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
