# MVV vs Koblenz

The clearest difference is rating: MVV at 4.7 against Koblenz's 1.0. MVV also leads on ratings volume (904 vs 1). Koblenz's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 29%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MVV holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MVV has 904 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of MVV's written reviews are positive against 56% of Koblenz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MVV ships an update every 6 weeks, Koblenz every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
