# Elastoplast vs Active L&R

The clearest difference is update cadence: Active L&R at every 2 weeks against Elastoplast's every 24 months. Elastoplast's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Elastoplast ships an update every 24 months, Active L&R every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
