# The Wire vs The Juggernaut

The clearest difference is rating: The Juggernaut at 4.9 against The Wire's 4.0. The Juggernaut also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Wire sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and The Juggernaut sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $16.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Juggernaut holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Juggernaut has 333 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. The Wire ships an update every 4 months, The Juggernaut every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
