# Waterstones vs Pick

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Waterstones at none against Pick's 1. Waterstones also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pick sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Waterstones asks for nothing beyond the download.

Waterstones ships an update every 3 weeks, Pick every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
