# District Taco vs MightyMeals

The clearest difference is rating: District Taco at 4.8 against MightyMeals's 4.3. District Taco also leads on ratings volume (3.8K vs 20) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). MightyMeals's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 45%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

District Taco holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: District Taco has 3.8K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of District Taco's written reviews are positive against 64% of MightyMeals's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

District Taco ships an update every 6 weeks, MightyMeals every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
