# District Taco vs The Artemis

The clearest difference is rating: District Taco at 4.8 against The Artemis's 4.4. District Taco also leads on ratings volume (3.8K vs 12) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). The Artemis's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

District Taco holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: District Taco has 3.8K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of District Taco's written reviews are positive against 50% of The Artemis's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

District Taco ships an update every 6 weeks, The Artemis every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
