# O Globo vs Voice Reader .

The clearest difference is rating: O Globo at 3.2 against Voice Reader .'s 2.3. O Globo also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (88 vs 8). Voice Reader .'s advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (25% vs 14%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. O Globo sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Voice Reader . sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

O Globo holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: O Globo has 88 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of O Globo's written reviews are positive against 25% of Voice Reader .'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

O Globo ships an update every 2 weeks, Voice Reader . every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
