# O Globo vs Alerta Licitação

The clearest difference is monetization model: Alerta Licitação at free with in-app purchases against O Globo's subscription. Alerta Licitação also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. O Globo sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Alerta Licitação sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
