# Bubble Wars vs Alien Breakout

The clearest difference is price: Bubble Wars at Free against Alien Breakout's $0.99. Bubble Wars also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (559 vs 2). Alien Breakout's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). On review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Bubble Wars is free to download; Alien Breakout costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bubble Wars holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bubble Wars has 559 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Bubble Wars's written reviews are positive against 50% of Alien Breakout's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bubble Wars ships an update every 5 weeks, Alien Breakout every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
